Yet, our community lacks a safe and engaging space where kids can come together, play, and grow into the best versions of themselves. That’s why we’re launching a fundraising campaign to raise $157,000 to build a brand-new basketball court and playground that will serve as a hub of inspiration, development, and joy for Griffin’s youth.

Marquis “Elway” Brown and Andrew Greene, two visionary leaders with a shared passion for empowering youth, came together with a bold mission: to create a space where children in Griffin can flourish, shift their mindset, and have access to the resources they need to thrive. They understand the profound impact a supportive community can have, which is why they are committed to restoring value back to their neighborhood and creating opportunities for the next generation.

It takes a village, Elway and A. Greene are the heartbeat of that village. Through their collaboration, they’ve cultivated a vision that normalizes Black excellence, celebrates education, and champions entrepreneurship. Their dream is to raise the bar for young people, teaching them that success is not only possible but inevitable when you have the right resources, guidance, and mindset.
