It Takes
A Village!
The Village Kids is dedicated to empowering youth to unlock their full potential by providing access to transformative experiences, mentorship, and resources. Our mission is to create a state-of-the-art youth center in Spalding County, where young people can develop their skills, build confidence, and connect with opportunities that inspire them to lead and succeed.
We are committed to building a state-of-the-art youth center that will serve as a hub for mentorship, education, and athletic excellence. But we’re starting with the foundation—a top-tier basketball court designed to give our youth a space to grow, compete, and build community. You can help make this vision a reality!

Meet Our Founders
Meet Marquis “Elway” Brown and Andrew Greene: the catalysts for change, the creators of a village, and the champions of excellence.
Marquis “Elway” Brown and Andrew Greene, two visionary leaders with a shared passion for empowering youth, came together with a bold mission: to create a space where children in Griffin can flourish, shift their mindset, and have access to the resources they need to thrive. They understand the profound impact a supportive community can have, which is why they are committed to restoring value back to their neighborhood and creating opportunities for the next generation.

It takes a village, and Marquis “Elway” Brown and Andrew Greene are the heartbeat of that village. Through their collaboration, they’ve cultivated a vision that normalizes Black excellence, celebrates education, and champions entrepreneurship. Their dream is to raise the bar for young people, teaching them that success is not only possible but inevitable when you have the right resources, guidance, and mindset.

“Greatness lives within every child—we’re just here to give them the space to unleash it.”
